​​The terms of your guarantee are as follows:

10 year warranty on: 

 

Design and manufacturing faults to the structural materials of the building (including rot and corrosion) 

​

Please note: GRS will not be held liable for any build material/component failure or damage due the discovery of rot or corrosion because of the failiure of the customer to adhere to the "Customers responsibilites" section of this site with respect to air flow, vegetation, debrie and gutter clearance.

​

2 year warranty on:

​

Engineered floor boards supplied by GRS.

Rot or corrosion of decking

​

1 year warranty on: 

 

Faults in doors and windows, including internal misting, Internal linings and trims.

Electrical connections, installations and appliances.

External Fascia​

​

Timber cladding and Timber decking:

​

No guarantee shall be offered on the natural weathering of timber cladding or decking. Certain timbers require treatments in order to preserve their initial appearance. It is the customers responsibility to ensure appropriate treatments are applied within the specified itmes.

​

Warping of timber fascia boards is not covered under guarantee; timber is a natural product and warping may occur. Likewise superficial cracking of timber cladding and/or fascia boards is not covered under guarantee.

General:

​​

Our Guarantee excludes normal ‘wear and tear’ and decorated surfaces. Door adjustments are not covered under our guarantee and may be necessary from time to time, particularly during periods of weather/temperature changes.

​

GRS does not cover against natural weathered aging.

 

Failure to report a fault immediately may invalidate your guarantee. GRS will endeavour to remedy the problem under warranty at the earliest opportunity.

​

No guarantee will be made for materials, fixtures or services supplied by the Customer or other third parties unless agreed by GRS.

​

Structural alterations made to the building by the customer or a third party will invalidate any guarantee.

​

GRS rooms are constructed under 'Permitted Development' and are guaranteed only insofar as the Customer abides by the regulations. If the Customer chooses to repurpose the garden room outside of permitted development regulations then any guarantee is automatically rendered invalid and terminated with immediate effect.
