Ask to upgrade for additional electrical components and services, such as:

CLADDING

Cladding can be a decision based on appearance versus maintenance and expense. What is the best option for you? We offer thermowood cladding as standard but you can upgrade to various cladding products.

​

  • Larch is an option however Siberian Larch is currently unavailable. UK sourced Larch is a beautiful timber to finish off the look of any garden room.

    ​

  • Composite cladding products offer a superior range of styles and colours. This type of cladding outperforms other options on durability and more importantly these products are virtually maintenance free, requiring no priming, painting, staining, sealing or repeat coats after a few years.  We offer various products and have samples on hand to help guide you through the decision making process.

​

  • ​Thermowood comes in many styles and sizes. We offer a variety of choices and are happy to walk you through our options.

​​

  • If you have a particular style or type of cladding in mind not offered by GRS we are happy to discuss other options with you.

DECKING

Some of our predesigned modules come with a small amount of decking depending on the
style you choose.

​

We can offer additional decking in softwood, hardwood or composite material. 

We recommend stainless steel screws for all decking materials.

 

Alternatively for a seamless finish we can use decking clips to secure the boards.  These are not visible and will seriously enhance the overall appearance of your deck area.

CLIMATE CONTROL

Climate control also known as humidity control can be an important part of your garden room depending on how you plan to use it.

​

If you are planning on using your garden room as an exercise / yoga studio we would recommend some form of airflow control.  This may even prove beneficial if you plan to spend long hours working in the room.

​​

You can better control moisture and carbon dioxide levels with some form of additional airflow control.

​

At GRS we offer two options as extras for airflow, moisture and heating regulation.

​

  • A decentralized Mechanical Extract Ventilation system (d-MEV)

​

  • A wall mounted split wall Air Conditioning unit

​

DOORS & WINDOWS

At GRS we use a local manufacturer and supplier of UPVC doors and windows.

We provide double glazed as standard but you can upgrade to triple glazed for extra thermal and sound resistance properties.

​

Our standard units come as white or anthracite grey.  However there are a variety of colours and style textures to choose from.

​

Our standard predesigned modulated garden rooms come with picture frame windows. These are fixed framed and do not open. Upgrade to either a fan light or casement style opening window.

​​

Add extra windows if you want to increase the natural light or to take advantage of a particular view. Adding windows that are not part of the original design will incur design and modification costs. We can explore such costings on an individual basis.

​

We are happy to arrange a show room visit for you should you wish to see the units prior to purchase.
